10 Simple Back To School Hairstyles
Hello Ladies!!
I hope you are all doing well and not only setting but working towards your goals!
Now school, university, college which ever you call it for the level of education you are now studying at you are always looking for simple ways to vamp up your style. I always mixed it up and did a variation of different hairstyles for my hair, you know switching up those hairstyles. Most people will have generic hairstyles they do (bun, ponytail and loose) but not to worry ladies I have compiled a little list of 10 different hairstyles to try out!
These hairstyles work well with most hair types, textures but mostly medium to long length hair! If you have shorter hair you may wish to tweak them a little for your hair length.
So what you will need for these hairstyles:
- Bobbi Pins
- Wide tooth comb
- An oil of some sort (Argan, Coconut, Castor etc)
- Small hair ties
- Normal hair ties
This first one is easy and straight forward! All you're going to do is brush/comb out hair and shove it into a neat bun. That's it simple and easy!!
Alright the next hairstyle is a single dutch braid down the middle of your head and use a hair tie to secure. If you are not sure how to do a dutch braid...girl get yourself onto youtube and watch some tutorials! Practise makes perfect so don't be worried if its not perfect. I always recommend brushing out your hair first and applying an oil to it so that its easier to grab the pieces of hair to braid.
HAIRSTYLE 3 - TWIST BAND
This is one I do very frequently for work too but its pretty simple. All you need to do is part your hair about 2 inches from ear to ear. Do a twist out and use bobbi pins to secure the twist around your hair.
Okay so this is another of my favs! It is a top bun with a twist out......start of with sectioning off your hair. You are going to put the top 3rd of your hair into a little bun and leave out a small section of hair. Do a twist out on the little chunk you have left out and twist around your bun to cover your hair tie and use a bobbi pin to secure in place.
This is a really good protective hairstyle to do on your hair....if you aren't sure why you need to do protective hairstyles then you need to start knowing! Protective hairstyles are a great way to give your hair a break from product, weather, heat anything you normally apply to your hair and it just gives it a break. There are sooooo many different protective hairstyles you can do!
Anyway on with the boxer braids, separate your hair in a middle parting. Apply an oil of some sort to your hair and then braid it on either side using a hair tie to secure. BOOM done plus don't forget to do them edges! I have a whole blog post on doing edges.
Ahh this is a fav for me! I am gong to share with you beautiful ladies! So your are going to do 2 little braids in the middle of your hair and secure with hair ties. Go ahead and put you hair into a loose bun, pull out a couple of strands by your ear and set those babies free. Whalaa all done :)
Okay so this one follows up from the hairstyle above (number 7)..... Instead of putting your hair into a loose bun you are going to use the braids as an Alice band. Take each braid and secure it under your hair with a bobbi bin and leave your hair loose. SUPER CUTE! and honestly curly, wavy or straight hair looks good like this!
Another of my definite go to's for work too! Do a side parting on your chosen side, gather your hair to one side and put your hair into a bun. Tug at some of those baby hairs to set them free and you are done. Quick and Easy ladies.
We have reached the last BTS hairstyle...PHEW! This one is quick and easy plus super cute! So you are going to do a middle parting and take a small chunk of hair on either side. Do a twist out on each chunk and secure in your hair with a bobbi pin. As the meerkats say.....SIMPLES :)
There you have it lovelies, 10 hairstyles to help spice up your everyday for school, college, university or even work! I would love to know how you get on with them or any tweaks you make so let me know okay!!
Until next time,
Stay inspired and fabulous......
