Week Old Curl Reviver

Image
Hey.... So I generally wash my hair between 1-2weeks, sometimes its because I like the way it looks and want to carry on with that style and sometimes i'm just lazy to wash it out so I let it be. Now if you have curly hair no matter the type of curl you have, your hair will dry out. For someone like me who lives right on the seafront in the UK and I live in Brighton where it gets very windy and the sea salt in the air dries out my hair super fast and means I have to moisturise, moisturise and moisturise more so than I would like. Anyway so I have had these finger curls for about 8days and my hair is feeling very dry, frizzy, loosing the curl definition and in need of some tender, love and care.

"Twisted Sista" Product Review

Heyya, So I am trying out a bunch of new products that we have available in the UK to find what suits my curly hair best. I thought I'd kick it off with the "Twisted Sista" Range from Urban Decay as this was one of the very first brands I started using when I began the journey of embracing my natural curls back in 2008..... Now I'll be honest I do still use heat in my hair on a low heat to dry my hair and I have restricted flat ironing my hair to once a couple of months.

Super Easy DIY Hair Mask

So I thought I would share my favourite DIY Hair Mask.... Now I usually do this once a month or whenever I use any sort of heat on my hair to repair the damage. I will break down what I do and what ingredients I use and links below of where to buy them.

A world full of Kardashians

Hey, I went shopping with my 4year old niece a few weeks and when we were looking at the barbie dolls she said something that really bugged me. When I asked her which barbie she liked the most she responded with "I only like the Barbie's with blonde hair" and she followed this statement with "I only like really super long hair". I don't know about anyone else but these comments really upset and frustrated me that such a beautiful and smart young child already had such a wrong impression of what she imagined was perfect and of what beauty was.
